2017 Born Players – 8 players
2018 Born Players – 8 players
 
The ice will be divided into three groups, allowing players to work with others of their own age and skill level. Each group will have a coach to challenge the players appropriately and provide focused instruction.
 
Program Overview
This program is designed to build a strong foundation in shooting and scoring fundamentals while also developing essential skating skills.
 
Sessions will begin with a 15–20 minute power skating dynamic warm-up to focus on:
Skating mechanics
Balance and edge control
Explosive foot speed
 
This ensures players not only improve their scoring skills but also enhance their overall skating performance, which is critical for this age group.

Shooting Technique & Mechanics
Wrist Shot
Snap Shot
Backhand
In-Tight Scoring – tips, rebounds, breakaways, and net-front play
Mid-Range Shooting – timing, accuracy, and deception
 
Players will receive high-quality reps in a small group setting, ensuring detailed feedback and hands-on teaching to accelerate their development as shooters and scorers.
 
Coaching Staff
Led by experienced HPL coaches with proven experience in player development and skill instruction. Each group will have a dedicated coach to challenge players appropriately and help them grow as confident goal-scorers.
