THE IHD SCORING-SPECIFIC PROGRAM WILL FOCUS ON A VARIETY OF SKILLS GIVING PLAYERS THE TOOLS THEY NEED TO PUT THE PUCK IN THE NET. SCORING GOALS AND HAVING THE MINDSET TO SCORE GOALS IS A SKILL THAT HAS MANY LAYERS. DEVELOPING THIS SKILL WILL ALLOW PLAYERS TO CREATE MORE OPPORTUNITIES IN GAME SITUATIONS.

  • Shooting mechanics and techniques
  • Deception and fakes
  • Puck protection and net drives
  • Scoring in all three zones of the slot
  • Low slot / mid slot / high slot
  • Teaching players how to read the ice and achieve scoring opportunities
  • Tips and rebound skills
