Players must choose what dry land group they will participate in (A or B) at the start of the program and movement within these groups must only be in isolated occurrences. Thinking they should be able to see marked advancements in a short time frame. Putting on size and mass is a process that is gradual and on going over several months. If players try to put on too much size in a short period of time the biggest impact that will come from it is a lack of foot speed and quickness when they get onto the ice. The goal of the Spring Program is to give all of the players a foundation for strength and mass. The sooner you start your off season training the more success you will have and you will be able to make gradual changes to your body whiles maintaining your speed, agility and quickness on the ice.
